The Mobility Trailblazers 2025 Award Ceremony at the prestigious Allianz Forum in Berlin honored 25 outstanding innovators who are reshaping the future of mobility across the DACH region.

Berlin, 30 October 2025, Allianz Forum

Held as part of the Smart Mobility Summit, the event brought together leaders from business, politics, and academia to celebrate courage, innovation, and visionary leadership in driving sustainable mobility transformation.

Opening the ceremony, Professor Dr. Andreas Herrmann, Director of the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen, emphasized that “mobility transformation requires courage, the courage to challenge conventions and to act when change is most needed.”

Dr. Philipp Rösler, CEO of Consessor AG and former Vice Chancellor of Germany, followed with an inspiring keynote entitled “Courage is Contagious.” In his speech, Dr. Rösler highlighted that courage is the spark that ignites progress:

“We live in a time when many things are being questioned - politics, business, technology, even society itself. Especially now, we need people who act nonetheless. Courage builds trust. Courage opens spaces for what’s next. Courage is contagious.”

The awards, presented jointly by Prof. Herrmann and Dr. Rösler, recognized individuals and teams who demonstrate bold vision and leadership across three categories:

  • Start-ups & Scale-ups - for founders and innovators who pioneer new mobility concepts.

  • Established Companies - for executives driving internal transformation and sustainability.

  • Politics & Public Administration - for policymakers who enable progress through reform and experimentation.

This year’s distinguished jury, including Dr. Philipp Rösler, Katja Busch (DHL Group), Felix Neureuther, and Laura Meyer (Hotelplan Group), selected the laureates for their courage to break patterns and reimagine the way people and goods move.

Under the patronage of Minister Winfried Hermann (Baden-Württemberg), the Mobility Trailblazers 2025 once again underscored that transformation begins wherever someone dares to take the first step.

As Dr. Rösler concluded:

“This award is not only recognition - it is encouragement. It sends a signal: courage pays off.”
