Dialogue, Access, and First Impressions Across Vietnam
From 2 to 6 February 2026, the Consessor Executive Delegation Vietnam 2026 brought together international business leaders and institutional stakeholders for an intensive program across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation combined high-level government dialogue with executive-level company visits, offering participants direct access to decision-makers and first-hand insights into Vietnam’s economic transformation.
Government and Institutional Exchange
The delegation began with a series of high-level meetings with Vietnamese ministries and senior government representatives. These discussions focused on Vietnam’s economic priorities, investment framework, and the conditions for long-term cooperation between Vietnam, Switzerland, and Germany. A high-level meeting with the Prime Minister and Deputy Ministers marked a central moment of the program, setting a clear institutional context and underlining Vietnam’s openness to international dialogue and partnership.
For many participants, several of whom were visiting Vietnam for the first time, these meetings provided an initial understanding of the country’s pace of reform, administrative efficiency, and strong focus on economic development.
Corporate Perspectives and Implementation
The program then moved decisively into the economic sphere with executive-level visits to FPT Corporation, offering insight into Vietnam’s digital transformation and the role of technology, software, and data-driven solutions in the country’s future development. This was followed by exchanges with Vingroup, one of Vietnam’s most influential private conglomerates, active across industry, infrastructure, mobility, and technology-driven ecosystems.
These visits highlighted how Vietnam’s strategic priorities are being translated into concrete projects and scalable business models, bridging policy ambitions and real-world implementation.
Business, Finance, and Investment
In Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation continued with a comprehensive business and association program. A visit to VietJet and its training facilities provided behind-the-scenes insight into aviation operations and professional training standards, including access to an Airbus A320 full-flight simulator. This visit offered a tangible perspective on operational excellence and capacity building within one of Vietnam’s fastest-growing airlines.
Traveling together on the city’s new metro line, the delegation proceeded to Saigon Marina IFC, where workshops and exchanges covered Vietnam’s macroeconomic outlook, foreign direct investment environment, logistics and aviation, data centers, energy, infrastructure, and venture capital.
The program also included meetings with Sovico Group and Vikki Bank, offering insights into Vietnam’s investment landscape and digital banking ecosystem.
A special highlight was the exchange with Madame Dr. Thao, Chairwoman of Sovico Group and Hero of Labour of Vietnam, one of the country’s highest honorary titles, reflecting the close link between entrepreneurship, national development, and long-term vision.
An in-depth visit to VinaCapital, hosted by Founder and CEO Don Lam, provided a strong closing perspective on Vietnam’s long-term growth trajectory and sector-specific investment opportunities.
Reflection and First Impressions
Toward the end of the program, the pace became more reflective. A visit to Landmark 81 offered a broader view of Ho Chi Minh City’s scale and dynamism, followed by a VinFast test drive, providing first-hand impressions of Vietnam’s ambitions in mobility and automotive innovation.
Informal exchanges, traditional Vietnamese meals, and initial one-on-one meetings allowed participants to consolidate impressions and deepen individual conversations. For the remaining delegates, a relaxed sunset get-together hosted by Don Lam provided an opportunity to reflect on the week, exchange perspectives, and strengthen connections formed over the course of the program.
Beyond the formal program, the delegation also had the opportunity to meet with Chairman Thanh, Chairman of Dat Viet VAC and ViOn, adding further depth to the exchange around Vietnam’s media, content, and digital ecosystems.
Lasting Impressions
Across the program, participants consistently noted the openness, professionalism, and warmth of their Vietnamese counterparts. For many first-time visitors, the combination of institutional access, entrepreneurial energy, and genuine hospitality left a strong and lasting impression.
The Consessor Executive Delegation Vietnam 2026 concludes not merely as a successful program, but as the starting point for continued dialogue, concrete follow-ups, and long-term cooperation between Vietnam and its international partners.
